I gained my degree in Social Policy at the University of Nottingham.
I worked as a Residential social w
gained a Higher Diploma in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at Cork University
I have a further qualification in Integrative Psychotherapy from the
ICIP in London( UK).
I have significant experience in working with people with severe and enduring mental health problems.
Other experience includes teaching adult literacy, counselling at a Rape Crisis centre, group work with the Traveller community.
I worked as a mental health development worker for Broxtowe College.
I developed staff training courses for mental health awareness, learning on prescriptions, and widening participation for students with mental health issues.
I qualified in Teacher Training for Adults and taught at Broxtowe College
I gained additional experience as the Community centre Manager at All Soul's Community Centre.
I managed the training project at Nottingham Women's Centre, delivering careers guidance ,vocational training and business advice
I gained my Diploma in Humanistic Counselling at the University of Nottingham in 2008.
I continued working as a Counsellor at the Centre for Integrative Counselling.
I now own the Fiona Corbett Counselling Practice, as a private practice .
I also work with NHS clients and a number of Employee Assistance programme providors.
